ICEC families are given many opportunities to serve the community at the local and global levels. We believe that children learn the importance of out reach when they are involved in the process. Some of the opportunities that are available throughout the year are:
Kindness Week Food Drive: Each year, in conjunction with Kindness Week, we hold a food drive for North Hills Community Outreach.
Operation Christmas Child Packing Party: Families are encouraged to shop together for toys, clothing and other items to be sent to children around the world. The children pack the boxes and include personalized drawings and notes along with the items they bring.
ICEC Walk A Thon: During this event centered on building community and fellowship among families of the ICEC, families are given the opportunity to raise or give monetary donations and collections of needed supplies. Penny’s for Heaven was our chosen charity for 2024/25
